Thanks to everyone who participated. It was interesting to see how some of you looked at old posts of mine to inform your guesses, but it doesn’t seem to have helped (whew!). It was also cool to see that most of the guesses that you guys had were for beaches that I’ve actually been to in the past.

I remember many years ago there was a gap in BOG gear availability, and I sat online in the middle of the night for Seedbay (I think) to list the first release in a long time. Lifesaver is what I picked up that night!
Never did get to grow it out, but that’s another story.

Haha I mean f2 the sour boggle. These are the last few from my original pack from bog a couple years back.
Not sure what I’ll do with the lifesaver f2s I won. I’ll grow em all out at the same time and see what’s in there for sure. Take snips. And if anything really intrigues me i might work it a bit.

Congratulations, bro. I was tying to be all analytical. I actually lived in Va Beach before and the outer banks, too. I was thinking the waves/beach break was too small for the east coast. So, I thought no waves is Gulf coast.
Also, there’s some smog haze which made me think of a city center. Is that on a beach in the sound, or ocean/sunrise? It looks more like a sunset to me, on the Gulf.
Ha, never thought of checking your posts. We got some real McGueebers in here!

Here’s the series of pics I took on that morning of September 9, 2001. The date sticks with me for obvious reasons. My buddy, who flew in from another state, and I took my Harleys on a road trip for that weekend, and Virginia Beach was as far south as our asses could handle in one day.
We returned back to my home later that day, and he flew back home on Monday, September 10th (from a major airport in the northeast). If our trip to Virginia Beach lasted one day longer, he might’ve needed to take one of my Harleys back to his home state…
There’s actually twice as many pics of that sunrise than I posted, but you get the idea. You can see it’s definitely a sunrise, but guessing the beach would still be very difficult. That’s why I was bummed that the person who actually guessed correctly didn’t do the only thing I required.
