I didn’t say I wanted to measure interest. I said I wanted to measure how much someone wanted the BOG LifeSaver seeds. A poll would not show effort, would it?
No f*cking way am I ending it, but I can’t control what Joe wants to do. In fact, I already had a surprise coming tonight when I announced the winners. Oh, and we still have 2.5 hours to go (or less, if Joe stops it)!
EDIT: But I gotta be honest, I can see why people just say “f*ck it - I’m outta here”. Even if I decide to do that, I would meet all my obligations first. That means the winners from this contest will get their seeds, and everyone in my 2 private seed runs will get their seeds.

If someone has interest in the seeds then they will click the “yes” in the poll. Don’t get me wrong we have seed “horders” her on OG so I don’t think the poll system is very accurate BUT it’s the closest thing we have to accuracy. Free seeds yep I’ll take them 
For example you have received numerous “Nice reply” badges in past day, majority for the posts which are more than year old…
Please try to understand that the Like system is here to help users better navigate the site and recognize quality content.
Asking the people to like your current seed runs, like you did, is OK. But asking them to like your old (and as you said “shitty”) posts is crossing the line IMHO. I’m sorry that you don’t see it.

Is it possible that your lines are silly and arbitrary? He’s trying to do a fun thing and reward people and you’re taking it way too seriously. Clearly he’s giving back and causing a lot of fun for people on overgrow, and getting likes for it. If that’s a problem for you, then you’re taking the whole system way too seriously. Smoke a joint and chill out.

Also the whole concept of ‘hoarding’ pips is really silly. The most pips I’ve seen is @DougDawson and he’s been pretty clear he can’t do anything with them except earn resentment for how many shiny green boxes he has next to his name.

Yup. And let’s be honest - this contest has been going on for 48 hours. I’m guessing the only reason Joe got involved is because someone or some people complained behind the scenes.
