My wife had a cataract taken care of. My mother before she passed did as well. Pretty simple nowadays

My grandmother had laser surgery done on her eyes probably 7 years ago or so, and she says it’s one of the best procedures she had done.
I just asked her about it again just now, and she says “go do it, especially if you want to get rid of the glasses” shes 77, and used to wear glasses her entire life.

I got my first pair when I was 4. I would love to but finances prevent unfortunately.

Two years ago I needed this procedure done. They wanted over 5000 bucks. I waited two years until I retired. Medicare pays for nearly all of it. I think so far I’m out of pocket for $150. Much better than five grand.

I feel those kind of procedures, as well as most medical issues and or prescriptions should be either free or very cheap I sympathize with the generations that are older than me because I’ve been around my grandparents and people of their age group my whole life and I feel bad that things just dont get any easier
