I still catch it on a local station. I know it’s “corny” as can be but they were serious about the music. That’s one of the shows that kept me interested in learning to play. The Grand Ole Opry was the best show on the air though (radio or TV).

I agree with you 100%, I love the old school country music. I still listen to George Jones, Hank Williams, Waylon, Willie, Johnny. Im pretty easy when it comes to music. I have different moods, when I think of my dad I listen to bagpipes, mom was big band music. I grew up listening to everything. Mowtown, country, and what they call classic rock now. My favorites Pink Floyd, Eagles, with a splash of Charlie Daniels, Outlaw’s, Marshal Tucker. The whole enchilada. :peace_symbol:

Ozark Mountain Daredevils y’all!

@Greenfingers I am exactly the same way. There are few genera’ of music that I don’t listen to from time to time. I grew up listening to Hank Snow, Patsy Cline, Little Jimmy Dickens… Then I found rock. Deep Purple was my favorite band back in that time period. Now I pick Bluegrass / Gospel with a little blues influence from my lead guitarist.
I’m very eclectic that way.

Good morning all! I hope you are all doing so fine you start wondering “When is all this happiness going to end?”, but it never does!

How’s the eye @BigMike55 ?

Seems to be good Mo. It’s funny that when I go to wipe sweat from my forehead, I go to take my glasses off, but I ain’t wearing any.
With just the one eye done so far, I’m happy. It’s weird to me how bright and clear and sharp the new eye is the bad eye, when it look thru just that one looks really blurry and dark muddy. I did not realize my eyes were that bad. Dr said it comes on so slowly, you never realize it until you can’t see anymore.
