Johnnypotseed’s 3-ring circus - with autos, photos & sex…reversals, that is! (Part 5)

I sprang for the cheap one for like 14 bucks! :joy: Thought I’d ease in and see if I liked it. The filter has been going strong for a month. I may upgrade. The wand is a mini pressure washer! I had to turn down the water pressure so I didn’t blast soil everywhere…… again.

I got a 2 pack of similar filters for free to try and my GF has been using it for her ever growing garden this year. Plants seem happy so I guess it’s working. If I were to buy one though it would be the boogie.

That thing is good for thousands of hours!

Apparently not quick enough.:joy: I’ve been
doing it for years now! It was easier when I ran my RDWC setup because I could mix in one or two gallons and dump in the res then fill with the hose. When I switched to soil I had to go individually. This should work well for now. I’ll just mix a few gallons once a week now to top feed. :raised_hands:t3:

The Boogie Blue Plus says 45,000 gallons filtered completely

Just read up on the boogie. It’s rated for 45,000 gallons mine 1,350. The boogie also appears to have some sort of magic inside. So yeah next time… the boogie! :joy:

I don’t think you’ll regret it, brother lol It performs as promised. We’re going to need another soon here.
This one has lasted almost 2yrs now

Yeah at this rate I’ll have to replace mine every cycle. The boogie seems like it’ll last for several. Glad I read up! Now I know what the price difference is all about. :fist:t3::facepunch:t3::+1:t3:

Very nice! Mine says 3 months. Appears made for a RV camping season. The boogie is made for gardens and other uses but appears plants were the goal.

It filters out more stuff than any of the others. That plus the amount of water it does, was the reason we got it

Same here but I’m about to up my game and add an addition 1 gallon.

Why mix one when you can mix two one gallons at the same time. :joy:

I’ve been doing individual gallon jugs due to several strains. Some like it hot… :joy: I do miss the simplicity of hydro sometimes. I like the mobility of soil in fabric pots though! I need more space to do it all! :joy:
More money too! My power bill ain’t playin the past couple months! 🫣

We will be trying out the milker tonight. Never having used one, I didn’t want to use it on someone else’s critters until I am well versed in using it. Working both homesteads today meant I didn’t have time to try it on mine this morning. I’m very eager to try this thing though. I’ll save us a bunch of time and it’ll be so much easier on the hands and back!
I’ll let you know how it goes. :+1:
