not trying to tell you your business, and i don’t have chickens (yet). more of a question.
i see you cleaned out the coop, but what if you put some type of sealant on the floor to make for easier cleanup?
like an epoxy paint for garage floors or some type of deck sealant?
would also preserve the wood so you won’t need to replace rotten structural members.
would those chemicals be bad for the chickens?

Feels like it’s been too long since I stopped by here. 500+ new comments since my last checkin!
I am so thrilled with the auction turnout! Biggest one yet since I joined OG, by far. I’m just happy I’m in a spot where I can contribute.
@JohnnyPotseed I can’t imagine how busy you’re gonna be for a while, man! Between all of the notifications, the messages, folks sending in their auction bids (I’m sending mine later today, it’s on the to-do list), not to mention packing up & shipping all the upcoming sales you’re bound to have… it’s gonna be good work for the soul 
And may I add, it’s so cool to see you extend the usual monthly sale thru to the end of the year. I hope it brings in some big fish for ya 
I’m setting some coin aside so I can stock up on more from ya. Having a sale thru the calendar year means I can also tell my wife which ones I want for Christmas! This year all’s I want’s a stocking stuffed full of JP seeds!

Personally would avoid epoxy or paint in my coops. It was side job. The chickens roam most of the day. Floor is getting sand under the roosts and pine shavings in the middle section.
