Good morning JP and OGs!! Ok i got a question, JP does your Sour Diesel cut grow purple? Im on my second grow of it and it turned purple also, ive heard yes and no… first time growing it so im not sure.

That is usually the result of temps/humidity in the growing process.

Ok, im right about 75 to 80 degrees and floating around 60 humidty. Thanks for the info.

Usually the colder temps do that. 75-80 shouldn’t. There are some strins that will go purple at any temp, but the SD isn’t one of em.
None of my SD cuts do

Not much difference, i have a humidifier running set at 60 and night time temps are right at mid to low 70s. Ill take a pic of it tonight when i get off of work. Maybe we all can figure this out lol. Ive smoked a sampke bud off it and its damn good but i havent smoke SD in alot of years and dont remember the taste much on it cause only smoked a few times.

We keep the temps at a consistent 72 +/- day or night, and humidity stays around 60%

The outside temps went down to 50 degrees last night. I think if the GFOG is able to turn purple… it will.
I think she needs another 2 weeks to fully mature. If I have to, I guess I can haul them back inside to finish out… Other than those spots, they are killing it outside though.

A lot of strains go purple when Temps are colder, it doesn’t usually hurt em. As long as it doesn’t get too cold. Moving to indoors to finish isn’t going to hurt with only a couple of weeks left.

It’ll be warming up for a few days until Sunday then dropping again but upper 40’s could be too much…
I don’t want to shock them into a faster finish. They are bulking up nicely and I don’t want to stall that.
