The spots on the leaves are just from shitty conditions. The soil is just recycled manure/potting mix I’ve used for a couple of years now and it’s been a really shitty summer with not a great deal of good weather so the plants aren’t exactly thriving outside but hopefully enough to produce some seeds. Last year was worse, though.
Here’s today’s update. The Gorilla Butters are starting to stack and frost up nicely. Really curious to see how this gorilla nut turns out.
Keep spotting what I think is a leaf hopper in my tent but pretty sure I got him. Plants looking otherwise healthy, gbutter#7 got a bit mashed when I was putting In a heater and looks to be the most unique gbutter. Much taller. It’s the last one I’m waiting on a clone to root.
Pure Michigan f2, smelling super menthol and pepper spice. This has been in probably my top 3 favourite smelling plants to date. Such a unique and peculiar nose. I haven’t kept a clone this time, will let her go after this.
The Bloom Booster (HG Top Shooter) goes in on Tuesday so hopefully these girls fatten up a lot the next few weeks
Here’s the other tent with Gorilla Breath, 4x4 (Double Burger by skunkhouse genetics) just about to hit week 4. These plants seem to be behaving way better under these new full spectrum control lights. They really seem to like the Early Bloom UV setting. Can’t wait to see what the late bloom UV setting does to them as well.
I pollinated a couple of plants with the Gorilla nut bx2 including the GMO and the other Gorilla Breath pheno as well, that were inside, too. Tbh I’ve never pollinated plants indoors before and have a suspicion I may have inadvertently pollinated a lot of plants and tops. Will see, I’m not too fussed either way. I’m excited to see what the seeds I create are.
It’s worth noting in still being told that my Gorilla Breath is the “the one” and the only thing that’s come close to it is IHG Black Cherry Punch which my friend got off a medicinal dispensary website

The Lady outside with the 2 dead bottom leaves and the purple fade starting on her leaves is she having a deficency or something? Pure Michigan is stacking up nice! Going to have a hell of a trim jail and seed shucking.lol least you have a few more weeks it looks like.
The plants outside are just a bit sad because it’s been a real shit summer. The last 2 summers have been real overcast and cold, wet. Il niña or whatever it is. Last summer was worse, I knew it was going to be shit outside again this year so I decided to just see if I could do some breeding outside instead.
Yeah I’m hunting Gorilla crosses to find that unicorn. Still haven’t come close to the Gorilla Breath. Next run is just a full hunt of gg4 RIL and whatever beans I get out of my breeding project fingers crossed
You’re the first person other than myself I’ve heard talk about broken ceiling rerouting… I had broken a Goji og F2 off its taproot before it broke ground and decided just to stick it back under soil to see what it would do sure enough it routed and is growing wonderfully just stunted a little bit but caught right back up to its siblings been meaning to start a journal on them… awesome garden by the way.
The Gorilla Nut bx2 male has finished jizzing his load. A nice purple fade coming in as the weather cools down. Great flower structure on this male hopefully he passes some Peanut Butter Breath goodness onto the ladies
Pure Michigan. Probably the best I’ve seen it so far. Less heat and less intense light has the buds a lot fuller this time round. Almost bummed I didn’t keep a clone this time but I have a pack or Black Truffle to go through which is Pure Michigan x WTC
SUPER happy with the new Full Spectrum control LEDs. The plants are flowering so much better under these lights. They have 3 settings; Veg, Early Bloom and Late Bloom with the added option of being able to interchange the hours UV kicks in and able to run full UV-only in the last couple of weeks
My last lights were 680w LEDs with no spectrum control and the diodes started rapidly dropping out. They were under warranty but discontinued so the guys in the shop honoured the guarantee and replaced them with the newer next model up 780w full spectrum control. so I saved like $3k here with a free upgrade to these amazing 780w lights.
Gorilla Breath #1 looking even better than the first time I ran it. I did a really poor job scrogging (again) but the tops are looking super dense and happy!
Nice you found a dometop! Lot of times those have the extra body affects and weight. Maybe the hashier gentler tasting smoke, more rounded.
The pine tops generally the gassier sharper instant headchange like momma.
I still don’t get it when people say gg4 knocks them out ha, it’s a hammer to the head!
The dome top is really similar, almost identical to the Killer Glue I’ve been running for a couple of years. More sour smelling and not as floral, though.

Those males look like they are trying to compete with your females on swell size WOW! Looking good as always and what a score on the light that is awesome. The late bloom does it have the uvb or whatever I forgot what the new supplemental lighting is called. Seems your Prego females are packed with beans.
I’m not sure I haven’t checked yet, I just know that it has a setting for 100% uv light for the last 2 weeks and also a setting to kick in and out UV light in the late Bloom setting. Not too sure if uva or uvb. The guy in the shop has the same lights and said he’s pretty stoked with them

Gorilla Nut has turned purple virtually overnight. Not much of a smell coming off her, though. Just rock hard wombat poo buds. Although I’m not sure I just am losing my sense of smell. It’s not particularly sticky just very hard and tight buds. I think this is from too much light. It is in the middle of the tent where there are two LED bars butted up together from the edges of both lights so it’s copping way more light than the plants at the end. Upwards of 1000umols at the tops. Not much I can do except move the taller plants to the ends of the tent and keep shorter plants in the middle which I failed to do this run.
Gorilla Butter #6 is my favourite of the Gbutters… Very tidy little plant with super frosty little acorn/pinecone buds and an awesome rich sweet nutty fuel nose.
GG4 RIL are both filling out awesome and are the biggest buds in the tent. Very frosty and super sticky. Bummed I didn’t clone them but I have 8 more coming through in the veg tent.
Garlic Breaths are both cool in their own right but not the smell I was after so they are going out of rotation. Pure Michigan is doing its think it should start turning black in the next week as we go into week 8.
Worth the ride, thanks for your shares. Razor edge style with H&G, in keeping the plants very happy and sexy. I like your kung fu as an (ex) long time user of this line of nutes.
Here you can see both plants with totally different bud type and structure pushed at 3.0ml/L TS, 1ml/L hg PK, over 2.5ml/L hg AB (aqua flakes), 0.5ml/L RE. Not made to be smoked, only for “the commercial show”. It’s just to close the loop on our discussion on the other thread, i known you will be able to see the TS strategy and the exact moment i go full throttle.
I’ve to learn from your use of your led’s arrays btw. I’m not ready yet to make the switch but you’re showing the “how i’m expecting to use it”. You look like to use the dimmers/distance ratio funk with ease, and by chance i known pretty well your nutes and a little the GG#4. Good opportunity for me to get more deep informations on these lights than usual with the grid you’re offering to my eyes.
My actual bias : Throwing thousands to can’t use 100% of the power is hurting my soul.

Yeah, with the LEDs I use an Apogee light meter and try measure about 700umols at th3 highest point of the canopy and try keep it around 600umols everywhere else. Pure Michigan is happier around 500umols but much over 700umols and the plants may foxtail or throw nanners and produce airy buds
Some strains obviously like more light more than others.
I got the big lights because they fit perfectly and the light bars go all the way to the edge of the tent so there is more light at the edges. Made sense to me.
