Thanks for your asking, normally, we recommend lights based on your coverage.
Only from the output, one mars cree 256 and mars 80, they can compare with HPS700 and HPS 300. The output is 1000w in total.
As it stands, no, that is not provable information. And as referenced, it could not even be classified as data, per se. At best, it is marketing.
Provable data is data that can be reproduced at any time across different individuals taking into account a margin of error. The first problem with this example is the complete lack of information, how would one recreate the exact same scenario as your customer that claims “around” 1.8 g/W. All that we have here is a testimonial from an unknown person.
This is why it is best to stick with actual scientifically measured numbers as opposed to anecdotal information. Sure, have testimonials but don’t turn them into claims. If the lamps perform, you will get the testimonials for free.
Examples,
“This thing is brighter than the sun” is an example of marketing.
“This lamp (TS-xxx) was measured using an Apogee PAR sensor center spot at 18 inch distance to produce 500 uMol/s” is an example of a provable data point.
“With a Mar-Hydro fixture, I was able to produce 1.6 g/W” is purely marketing.
“With two Mars Hydro TS-xxx is a 4x4 tent, strain x, SOG/peat/COCO/Advanced Nutrients, 18/6 veg of x months, 12/12 flower of x months, I was able to produce 1.2 g/W. Here is my weekly grow log and photos” is still not provable but it is a much better scenario that could be reproduced. Independent reproductions that show similar results will create a provable situation.
Mars should consider not converting customer testimonials into claims. We’ve heard such claims before and is why you are receiving some ire. As soon as someone else fails to achieve the same results, you’ll receive negative campaigning from those past customers.

I figured how to dump the heat from my 4x4. Cheap Ipower $170ish shipping a standard par bulb and a 600 eye hortilux. Cheap ass bat wing reflector. I know it’s a pic ive been using. Here’s a peek at 1 plant under it. I just want to know if your largest model is gonna compete yea/nea?

I wanted to ask about my Older Mars 2 1600 LED Diode light.
I see a few my my diodes are too burning out now ( Old light not many grows on it but I am trying it again)
I guess they must be the Blues from what I am reading they burn out 1st, my question is - Have any of Mars engineers been able to come out with a better replacement Diode for my light that won’t burn out as mine are doing.
I mean , why go through all the trouble of me fixing it , if light is going to burn out right away again?
Have they upgraded the diodes in the last 5 yrs, I will say I approx bought my light then.
