So true! Man.
I had plenty of spare rims from part vehicles at home.
Issue was I didn’t have any with 35" tires mounted, and it was better to drive it home then leave it in the bush an have people torch it to the ground. That and it was -20 in winter time on a forest service road. No cell reception.
Edit: the rim was actually still good, surprisingly. The 35" bias ply tire held together too, didn’t shred to pieces.
I love the avatar dark ass black cat. It’s lit
@misterbee your quiz gave me a flashback.
Has anyone heard The Problem?
Let’s break down the journey step by step to find the answers to this question…
-
Initially, you walked 1/3 of the 27 miles to your friend’s house, which is (1/3) * 27 = 9 miles.
-
After your friend offered you a ride, you traveled together for 4 miles before the flat tire incident.
-
Then you walked back 6 miles to the service station/repair shop.
-
After getting the tire repaired, you walked back to the vehicle, which is another 6 miles.
-
Finally, you and your friend proceeded to your original destination, which is the remaining distance from the service station/repair shop to your friend’s house, which is (27 - 9 - 4 - 6 - 6) = 2 miles.
Let’s answer your questions:
Question 1: Total miles traveled = (9 miles walked initially) + (4 miles driven) + (6 miles walked back to the service station) + (6 miles walked back to the vehicle) + (2 miles driven after the repair) = 9 + 4 + 6 + 6 + 2 = 27 miles.
Question 2: Total miles walked = 9 miles (initial walk) + 6 miles (walk back to the service station) + 6 miles (walk back to the vehicle) = 9 + 6 + 6 = 21 miles.
Question 3: Miles the driver traveled after picking you up = 4 miles (driven) + 2 miles (driven after the repair) = 4 + 2 = 6 miles. -
Total miles traveled: 27 miles.
-
Miles walked: 21 miles.
-
Miles the driver traveled after picking you up: 6 miles.
Congratulation @chronix for the win…
I don’t understand how the answer is not
- 39
- 21
- 30
You travel 27 miles to ur friends house except for the flat tire when u walked an extra 12. That’s 39
U walked 9 miles plus the 12 to the station that’s 21
The driver traveled two thirds of 27 which is 18 plus the 12 he walked with u. That’s 30.
Question Number 1:
He walked a 1/3 of the way, which equals 9.
His friend drove him 4 miles. That equals 13.
They had to walk 6 miles to tire shop, then walk 6 miles back.
That equals 25.
Then proceed driving to his destination which was 18 more miles…
Equals 43 miles in total for mr. bee’s travel distance.
Question 2, is, 21miles like you said.
Lol, I love how Mister🐝 just gets everyone’s gears turning, then goes to bed.
The four miles was part of the 27. I’m not trying to argue I’m probably misunderstanding something I just like math
It would b 14 more after the 4 right?
My edibles are kicking in.
My brain don’t work now, I will try to explain better tomorrow.
These are also the figures I tallied.
9+4+6+6+14 = 39
9 walked, 4 driven with friend, 6 walked to the service station, 6 walked back to the vehicle with the repaired tire, 14 to drive the remaining distance (27-9-4 = 14)
9+6+6 = 21
4+6+6+14 = 30
Many blessings and much love
49
21
And 40 but you didn’t specify if it became a round trip for you both so I figured one way.
Edit. This is wrong by a solid bit.
Ok so you traveled, 70 miles
You walked, 21 miles
The driver traveled, 34 miles

ATTENTION ----- ATTENTION ----- ATTENTION!!
While outside this afternoon enjoying the seldomed-seen Sunshine, this “Official-looking Vehicle” pulled into my Driveway. I thought it might be about the “Unofficial Speedbump” . As he approached, I extended my Hand, being a cordial Fellow. He whips out some Papers, put 'em in my Hand and says, " Mister , eh, “you’ve been served”. When he turned and walked away, I saw the “OG Mediator Agent Logo” on the back of his Jacket. He got in his vehicle and sped off.
I hurried inside, sat down, opened the Envelope. It was a sorta Official-looking “Cease and Desist Notice”. Since, it stated, I had resumed Giveaways, I had neglected to include @2High’s many Offerings. As such, I wouldn’t be permitted to engage in further Giveaways until this particular situation was corrected.
If that’s the price of continuing something that gives me Joy, and keeps me occupied, I guess I HAVE TO COMPLY. Get ready for a…let’s call it “@2High Compliance Giveaway”. On MONDAY/25 MARCH/1000 EST, Giveaways Nr 16 - 22 will commence, stay OPEN for 24 Hours, CLOSING TUESDAY/26 MARCH/1000 EST (or until when I return from Medical Appointment). Same Rules, Open Worldwide, but still can only signup for ONE/1 Giveaway!! Choose carefully.
