When the thread was originally posted it was to give a heads up about the signup. The signup was scheduled for 11:00 E.S.T. today December 18th.
For me I’m a visual learner and learn from doing so found this tutorial by @DougDawson helpful in learning how to navigate the signups and for editing wikis in general. Here it is:

I need everybody to look over the list. Due to people adding their name back I could have you 2 times or somebody overwritten might have gotten lost. There where a few times people delete more than one person.
Looked over and i am one there at 35. I originally signed at 34 i have no idea if that is an issue but i am not on the list twice 
@sunra108 was at 28 and something weird happened where I was at 28 and 29. If I bumped him please remove me
I am not back…was at number 31… first 10 edits
They overwrote and after I deleted add themself back and I re-deleted
