Growing resolutions:
- Get the perpetual back on track.
- Dial in Chem 91.
- Find TK and/or a hybrid to meet Mrs. UNO’s particular smoking needs.
- Harvest my first castings from my worm bin!
We got this! We’re all gonna achieve our resolutions!

If you liked that I’d recommend “Ishmael” and “The Story of B” by Daniel Quinn, they are a imilar philosophical novels on the Socratic format, good reads about human chauvinism and a better introduction to deep ecology (IMO) than the usual sources.
I had to cut my most recent grow short just before thanksgiving which was a bummer. The reason was that we are listing our house and moving, and I didn’t wanna deal with all the questions and bullshit even though my state is newly legal. So first resolution is get everything set up again in the new place. We close in 2 weeks so maaybe I can get something going by the end of the month. I hope so since I really enjoy tending to the plants, smelling them as they grow, etc. It’s especially nice during the long dark winters up here at 45N lol.
Besides that, I’d really like to try an outdoor grow and some indoor pollen chucking. Outdoor in my yard is probably not feasible for now, BUT the new house is across the street from a park with good guerilla grow potential since it’s got no trails/structures and has a highway on one side. breakin the law!
My resolutions is to get all the pre approved co-op seeds ran. I have been doing seed runs for a few years now and want to get some other strains grown for meds.
As always, lose weight.
I’m with ya there hun!!!
Oyster mushrooms do wonders for metabolism!
I always notice my belly being flatter the day after eating them, especially if they were just flash fried and still a bit raw and chewie on the inside.
They really help diabetics and people with high cholesterol as well.
Wonderful post. 2023 was fairly huge for me taking advantage of Missouri going legal and stepping outside my wheelhouse and self teaching myself how to grow indoors along with partaking of the yield for the first time in my 53 years. A friend of mine for 30+ years and the only person I knew that grew and would answer my multitude of questions finally lost his battle with cancer. 2024 for me consists of learning…always learning about this hobby turned passion and making improvements to my humble little DIY basement growing room. I know this last thing is beyond the scope of this post but further down the road, I would love to find a way to be the “building hand” for disabled or chronically ill people and an interest, get a tent setup and help them along their paths. I mostly come over to sneakily read and gleam knowledge while “Ooh and Aahing” over the pictures of what everybody’s growing but sometimes a post like this draws me in. Much love and positivity to all of you, this coming year!
