Northcoast Genetics legit?

Hi,

I tried to contact Northcoast Genetics a while ago. Never got an answer. Well, maybe it was my email address which sometimes blocks stuff. Next time I could try another.

Has anybody grown seed from them? Are they legit? I would like to try their Punta Roja/Punto Rojo. The other two places I found are apparently either scammers (tucultivo) or people with very dubios business ethics (TLT) from what I read so far. Any other suggestions for a source of Colombian Punto Rojo/Punta Roja (no hybrid, the pure thing)?

Hi KGB. Thank you for your input. Well, I got enough stuff to grow this year but later on I will consider buying from them. I would be most interested if someone grew their Punto Rojo or their Mazar-i-Sharif. And if it turned out the way it should … North Coast have a few interesting landraces but sadly many landrace sellers have less than stellar business ethics and some of them appear to sell bird feed.

Call me skeptical but I can’t find any reviews on any forums from trusted members. The only comments I can find are from members with literally no history on accounts opened within a week of the comment…

Not saying he is a scammer but if he were this is what it would look like.

Pretty sure this ‘breeder’ is a white label type business reselling bird feed as whatever is hot at the moment. It’s a nice website though, well designed and uses cached cdns which is nice. Wouldn’t give them my money though

Update: the site used the same photos for multiple strains, at least one of which shows up on Google reverse image search. Sketchy as hell.

Thanks, @sardinebags. Pretty much my own thoughts - I could not find any reviews worth mentioning, either. Prices are pretty high for such an outfit and I definitely won’t buy from them unless a trusted member somewhere recommends them and actually grew their stuff. Scammers also sell seeds and maybe add freebies etc. to make it look great. But that does not help or is actually worse if you are growing bird feed for a full year …

@SeniorGrower
A friend sent me the acapulco gold seeds. Very expensive but the high is unparalleled lasting at least 5 hours. Very cerebral.

Not like anything in my 40 strain collection.
