Maybe if you can let it get more amber, the trichs before harvest. Let it ripen a bit longer than usual (maybe 1 week at most?)
It’ll help mellow out the Cali -O “skunk” head effects. Make it more body heavy.
I had a Strawberry Cough that became straight up Mellow indica style ganja when most of the trichs were amber.

Nice! Just like w wine, patience = higher quality results.
*BUT i usually let ONLY indica dom strains get much amber. With most sativas, too much amber can “muddy” the head high.

I have only found one strain that finished around where the books say it should. Maybe I keep my rooms too cool or whatever but I always seem to go 1 or 2 weeks past what the package said it would take. I go by amber not dates now.

Same, i like 10-20% amber, very few clear.
Best <$20 i ever spent was this type of (trich) lighted scope. You can practically see an aphid’s butthole w this.
