Interesting yes, definitive, probably not.

Scientists have discovered a type of purple-colored cannabis that appears to fight the widespread plant disease, which is called hop-latent viroid, or HLVd. HLVd damages cannabis plants and significantly reduces their value by decreasing the amount of active compounds, like THC, they produce.

Sounds like a rumor becoming news & the scientist calling the hlv covid 🤦 suggests someone is just running their mouth as long as the money keeps coming.

Would be a lot more interesting if they’d finish their research before mumbling stuff. :smirk_cat:

I noticed that in university all the engineers dyed themselves purple and not one of them got a plant disease. Science.
