I had to google “mapito”. interesting. How do you like using it? Is it just ground rockwool? Or is the density really notable more dense?

It is like a mix of rockwood and organic material.

I really liked using it.

If I am ever going back to using a medium in a hydro, Mapito will be my choice.

Nowadays just doing mediumless because its easier.

However Mapito is an easy as a medium as you don’t need to dump it, just enzyme treat it and you’re good to go on with the same batch for years and years and years.

Always keep your medium covered.

Light + Nutrients + Water = Algae.

No matter if your material is deathstar even the deathstar will be coated in algae if exposed to these three in combination.

I must tell the rebellion! I knew there had to be a weakness! That means there is still hope! We can still defeat the deathstar. I must have general whatever her name was to prepare a X-wing fighter with a missle outfitted with some uncovered rockwool cubes and some of my root aphid infeasted hydroton to destroy the dark side. (sorry, just had my wake and bake and I am a star wars dork :nerd:)

I hate algae.
