@Roms, being unable to understand the words being said myself, would this be an accurate description of the message being portrayed through the song?

The lyrics of “O Ry Devoly E” depict a strong moral and spiritual message, urging people to reject the devil and his temptations. The song repeats the refrain of rejecting the devil’s influence, emphasizing that he has no place here (“Tsisy aferanao eto niany”). It also encourages various groups of people (young men, young women, older women, etc.) to consider their actions and the looming judgment day, suggesting that material and worldly pursuits like disco and wealth won’t save them. Instead, it advocates turning to the church as a means of salvation. The phrase “Mandeha ianao mandeha amin’ny leglizy” translates as “Go to the church,” reinforcing the call for spiritual reflection and commitment.
