We’ll worth the wait and your plants look stellar @pedroutsy
Truly impressive.
I am still seeing quite a few green seeds after 5 weeks of pollination, I am to the thinking that these two plants will take a little longer to fully grow all of the seeds to maturation because of how heavily they were pollinated.
Both plants have all the branches leaning over from the weight of the seeds.
Sorry no pics because my phone got launched by my youngest after he lost a game of cards.
How long do they usually take to mature after pollination?
It’s a bit strain dependant but around 5 weeks.
Man those are super pregnant, they look really happy to be fulfilling their biological imperative lol
I didn’t know that you could put pollinated plants back into veg lighting hours and they would still keep ripening the seeds, I’m sure I’ll find that handy one day. Also good to know the pollen is only viable for a few days, I thought it would be necessary to scrub that room down before adding anything else!
I just remembered i must get some stickers printed i had best get onto finding a graphics program.
its handy to cut the buds off then pollinate and reveg at the same time seeds are growing seeing that a reveg can take 5 weeks anyway.
That’s really clever. This is awesome, it’s like going to class AND getting a pack of weed seeds at the end
a new idea to get kids to want to go to school
That’s a great idea! I’ll have to give that one a go
My goodness @Pedro_Bann! That is an awesome family photo of the kids! All looks fantastic. Blessings…
Sweet looking packaging there. Well done.
Thanks! they hold around 50, I will try my best to fill them all to the top.
I missed that… I never knew that either. I know I always heard or read that once a female gets pollinated she puts all of the energy into building seeds, not buds. So, it seems logical to me.
I have to go back to read that section where you revegged the pollinated mom… missed it.
I’m no expert, but seems like I also read that pollen can be sort of strain specific, too, as far as how long pollination remains viable once dispersed. I think it can last longer than a few days. But, I want to go back and find out more, because it seems to be a new part of my life now, no matter how many times I say not this time. And, being human, I can be lazy and/or sloppy on occasion. peace and vibes!
Looks like last time I done it was almost a year ago, time gets faster as you get older I swear.
Fancy! Looks awesome and 50 seeds holy cow you don’t mess around! Looking forward to trying those. Thank you so much for your time, energy, and $$ doing this. I wish I could come to Aussie land and help fill jars and peel stickers.
Thank you very much. Cant wait.
Thank you for this info
If we had botany in high school…
Maybe i wouldnt have told my mom that was a potato in the closet.
