have u tried giving a bath in oatmeal water …soak raw oat meat in water strain out the meal and use the slime like soap …i use this on my dogs because they need to get baths so often in the summer when they get to run in the fields and roll in some disgusting things.

I used a medicated shampoo with lidocaine & a tiny amount of cortisone(from the pet store) & have added salmon oil to the feeding & see way less scratching right away. I also switched from grain-free food to grain-ey food.
