Space heater safety question

Haven’t done much outdoor for a while definitely had normal mouldy buds from outside but iv never personally had the p.m we don’t really get too humid here have a dry sun I’m not sure it might be here not gonna say no1 gets it iv just never seen it I know they sell the stuff to get rid of it here thou edit: quick google tells me we do have powdery mildew mainly on our grape crops so maybe just been luck

Fair enough. Everyplace is different. For me, this is very consistent. Under leds plants like it warmer, and temp/humidity play on each other. So it might not even be the temp swings but the resulting humidity swings that help it catch footing. I’ve read that powdery mildew likes a repetitive humidity swing to really complete the life cycle at optimal efficiency.

also, there are different species of pm that attack different plants. maybe the grape version is different. I know some weeds around here get it and it transfers to my weed, and others that get another kind and is harmless. Just starting dialing things in and I’m moving next week.

PM been a problem in gardens going back to the late 90s. Haven’t seen it since learning about Sulfur in veg. Still in the county but gone from the grow. Thanks @JoeCrowe

shit, you called him. I’m in trouble now. lol. I just started using sulfur a year or so ago for when I have an issue, or am bringing things in from outside. I haven’t used it as a preventative yet. sorry for derailing the thread a little, but I do use heaters, and pm is why

Hey bro would you recommend the 120w sabre heater from Herbals instead of the 60w one you have?
I’ve never had PM either, must be our climate.

Hi mate, two ideas for you… probably both not what suits you tho….
Get a proper wall hung a/c unit and mount in room your tent lives in.
You’ll probs save $$ in the long run & if your summers get warm you can use it all year round if needed. For the money You’ll have :100: peace of mind.

How do you feel about old school hps lights?
I still use one aswell as leds.
I brought the 600 wtt hps back into my room last winter for heating purposes worked real nice. Below that light is still the sweetest spot in my garden.
Cheers

lol! Once summoned…
Powdery mildew is transferred to your grow with infected plant material. Humidity has no effect, except low humidity helps it spread. As long as you never bring in infected plant material, you will never get mildew.

I love your stuff bro, but half what you say is flat out not true. I won’t argue about it. this will be my only statement here. I’ve seen how that goes. Many respected peeps say they see things that counter your gospel and you won’t hear anybody. Do you.

Spores are real. They spread far more than 6 ft. They show up mid winter if I’m sloppy. humidity absolutely has a massive affect, especially if its up and down. Countless studies on this confirm what I see with my eyes, in my situation, in my location. that is all.

Actually I’m part of a select group that knows the truth about mildew. Due to the research of course. IF you want to do yourself a favor, watch hash church 5.0 episode 7 where archive seeds repeats what I said about mildew. Marcus bubbleman brought him on after I complained bitterly the previous episode the panel who talked about it didn’t know shit.

Your right.

yaaah, ok well I know I won’t change your mind, enjoy mildew. The upside is though, for everyone who reads this message, two powdery mildew colonies will be eradicated. People who summon me like some kind of dark monster, are really working to kill that parasite off  Hearts from Hash Matty!
