Wedding Cake F3 Breeding Project
A little background on this Wedding Cake project of mine going on. The strategy behind this project is to grow out “large” populations of Wedding Cake seeds, remove any troubled plants along the way and pollinate the whole population. Once it is time to harvest, only 10% of the highest performing plants will be harvested and those seeds will be used in the next breeding cycle.
I’d like to post a little update of the backyard garden. With some training done to keep these seedlings as low as possible so they do not finish 10ft tall like previous years…

Why Wedding Cake? How did you choose that strain for your project? This is a strain I love but have never grown yet. I have a pack of fem seeds I’ll get around to sometime.

Honestly, I really liked how it grew outside up in Canada. I got the original cutting that was supposed to sourced from the states but who knows how accurate that is these days haha but had some seeds from I believe canuk seeds that I picked a male out of and have been working to improve it ever since

hello guys, it’s been a while.
I prepared my tent for the next plants.
In the back you’ll see my own cross which is Lemon Orange x bubba kush IBL and in the front there’s the deep space 98.
I have two phenos of them, one bigger one which i think could be more nebulis leaning and one short and bushy pheno which could be more bubba leaning.
They’re in flowering day 2, i need to shave those ladies a bit but all in all i’m happy with 11+ weeks of veg lol
I’ll make some detailed pictures of the deep space 98 within this cycle. Of course i took some cuttings
