Trinity let’s talk about it

I might be getting a cutting of this strain and would like to know who else holds her and what your general thoughts are.

I have her as a mother plant and have flowered her out once so far. Mine did well but didn’t like being root bound or having a pot dry out too much. Fan leaves are always in the praying position throughout veg. Vegged slower than most but not as slow as Pre 98 Bubba does. Flower has a great range of smells like floral perfume, hints of funk and a sweet smell i can’t really identify. Good yield of dense buds with above average potency. For me it’s a balanced euphoria high that seems to boost my mood and has no couch lock.

Trinity right near chop time. Yielded almost 5 zips in a 2.5 gallon pot. Clone came from Rusty at Cannaventure Seeds

I grew a cut labeled trinity I got out of harborside Oakland in 2015 I think it was. Looked just like this one. Same plant and bud structure super fun plant to grow and smoke. Liked the effect on it a lot. Damn near spot on description from what I remember. Miss this cut for sure

Definitely hold onto it

If you ever make seeds of it I’d love to trade

I think Rusty at Cannaventure Seeds has S1 seeds of her. I know he has Irene OG as seeds and I’m pretty sure he has a line of selfed Trinity seeds as well. I hope to at least do some crosses with her down the road. I’d like to reverse my Motorbreath 15 and hit some other cuts i have with the pollen.

It’s supposedly from a bagseed found in 1993 from an outdoor grow in weed California, grown around NorCal and Oregon with rumors it went to Colorado early on, Montana and I forget but another state and some of the stories tell it in reverse coming from back east and landing on the north coast.
One thing I read said it was found in southern Humboldt and was a Hawaiian sativa Afghan cross.
Now I find the last sentence of particular interest because I personally know a specific Hawaiian sativa that was grown in southern Humboldt sense the early 80s maybe even late 70s preserved all the way until around 2010 and it very well got crossed to many things along that journey.
I always felt og kush was related to this same Hawaiian sativa but could never connect the dots but if a large amount of a Hawaiian/Afghan was coming out of NorCal and going east I wonder how many of those bag seeds people found and made into elites were from that genetic line……

You did such a nice job with her, on the first run at that. Much respect on your grows.
Two outside this year, one for exploring later and one for smoke. Hoping she fills out more bud wise but natural challenges may have prevented with a critter burrowing under it. Plugged the hole then chickens decide to dust bowl all around digging up roots. Lol
So far I can’t win for losing on her but now it’s like oh hell no I got you now. Ha
