Useful tool I just found

Why can’t there be 1 set standard that’s universal lol.
I remember being a kid working on cars with my grandfather and we had the standard wrenches and sockets and then we had the metric sets and even on a lot of the American cars we still had to use the metric tools.

Retooling costs more than America is willing to pay.

I think the “Gallon” is the only thing that’s NOT bigger in America

Yea, kinda like ppm charts too… some PPM meters use the 500 conversion factor scale and others use the 700… and the 640… lol

This is why I rely more on E.C :+1:

Either that, or we’re standing fast until the rest of the world falls in line with our measurement system. 2 down, 179 to go!

Yep. EC is like the universal language. Except mine doesn’t actually tell me EC… only ppm. I know its based off of EC n does the calculations on its own but even then a lot of meters I’ve seen don’t tell you what scale they use lol

I guess your a trump fan

I’m amused by politicians of all stripes… Trump was more ridiculous, over-the-top and idiotic than the rest usually dare to be, so I guess you could call me a Trump fan in some sense of the word. :stuck_out_tongue: Depends how liberal you are with vocabulary…

Bro. The man did everything he said he was gonna do even if most of it was wrong. I can respect that.
Take a look at our last prime minister. She lasted 50 days then quit.
In my own personal opinion we need to get rid of the monachy here in the uk and do as you lot do and get a president that’s incharge. Its stupid having a single family that controls the entire country.

Basically, yep, I was just thinking the same thing - I don’t like him much, but at least he usually told the truth as he saw it. Of course, half the country disagreed and hated him even more for speaking his mind about it, but if nothing else he was up front. As far as a president that’s in charge though, I’m gonna have to disagree. Trump’s term did more to show where real power lies in America than most presidents, and it wasn’t with him or the opposition party. It was with the donor class. In Russia they call them oligarchs, over your way you call them nobility. Either way, it’s not with the figurehead they put up for us to look at and fight over. :man_shrugging:

The monachy give knighthoods to pop singers and footballers these days. A knighthood should be giving to a soldier that risked his life to keep the Country safe.
Sir Paul McCartney ffs. I understand he’s done a lot for charity etc but he hasn’t dodged bullets for a living (Lennon should have dodged )

When I started working, we (Canada) had 45 gallon drums and the US had 55 gallon drums…
Once I figured out they were the same drums, that became my rough conversion between Imperial and US.

Does anyone still use Imperial?

Cheers
G

In the uk when we changed to metric a few fruit stores continued to use imperial and the got court dates and fines. Now imperial is more or less obsolete unless it’s for something like an old car or similar that’s parts we’re built using imperial measurements.
I was born pre metric so luckily I can decipher both. :v:

How does this tool calculate the ppm / Gram per gallon, I have a lot of nutrients and some are more concentrated than others.

Ppm is ppm concentrated or not. Ppm = parts per million.
Highly concentrated nutrients will have a higher ppm per litre.
This is why a ppm meter is 100% a necessity. :+1:

Amen brother. You should see the linebackers walking around the streets up here. Big people here in the midwest USA. (Not that there is anything wrong with that) Since we’re on the topic of measurements. These mothertruckers here want me to convert fractions and sht. Just give me the damn number yo! Gotta do math to pick out a damn socket. Just give me the metric system already you cnts!
