Vegan Composting

So it seems some people are experimenting successfully with compost made purely from plant matter with no manure.` They are coming from the angle where they don’t want hormones in their compost rather than the ‘animal slavery’ side so they seem less agenda driven.

They claim increasing yields for four years as the compost matures with no extra dressing. After reading the article I can’t see any problems with what they are saying, after all, you can support a forest on pretty much just leaf fall…

I will definitely incorporate some of this info in my longer-term future plans for my allotment.

Hmmm I guess I’d probably consider myself a vegan composter then I first started out composting with manures years ago probably haven’t done it for more than 6-8 years now any compost is good IMO this individual is just returning store minerals in plant tissue back to the soil like Mother Nature does completeting the nutrient cycle process interesting read thanks for sharing @MicroDoser!
