Hadn’t used my press in a while so I fired it up and squeezed 7g of Black Cream for 3 minutes @ 185°F. I didn’t weigh the result but assume I’m in the ballpark of 20% return (about 1g yield of rosin).
Post-dab report: The distinctive aroma of the Black Cream flower totally comes through in the rosin. It’s like a highly perfumed incense which I find delightful.

sampling the last of the winter legend og nugs. very piney without being astringent. i goofed on the cure, usually she has a floral background that didnt come through this time.
wasnt able to keep this cut around due to space constraints but its a lovely plant if you come across her. would recommend

how do the treps hold up over two years?
It surprised me, it seemed like it held up nicely in the jar, it’s almost empty. I needed to use scissors to cut it up, and it smoked as good as not quite fresh, like my wife would say. It taste’s like weed lol.

Broke into some of this Spirit Train f2. The last run of it was kind of doughy, not very flavorful, but strong. This one is way more tasty, has a savory quality with a citrusy thing as it is heated up,and a subtle sweet copal/tree resin smell/flavor on the finish.

By far the most purple plant from last year’s crop. I harvested my other Bay Dream plant two weeks earlier. It was just barely turning purple.
