I think we all agree it’s sweet, not savory? I’m changing my guess to Italian wedding cookies. They don’t really look deep fried, like a doughnut hole. It was just all I could think of.

You would be surprised. They make some delicious breads. Some that are sugarcoated. I don’t have the big markets where I live anymore. Some of the best meat markets. Sometimes the food already cooked.
Like the shrimp cocktail. The cheek of the pig. Carnitas already cooked. My favorite is cup of corn.
