My favourite argument against such people is to point out how judgements they are being. Simple and effective.

That’s nice. I never thought of making a caprese salad using cherry tomatoes and small mozz balls. That’s a fine idea! (I’m really hoping that’s a caprese salad…)

Blistering up some small tomatoes and tossing them with some good mozz balls, basil, and balsamic is good stuff.

Alrighty then. Never thought of using cherry tomatoes and I’ve never blistered a tomato for a caprese. I’m gonna be doing those things in the not too distant future. Thanks for that, @PatHealy!
