When to flush (according to trichomes)?

It sounds like not flushing is the way to go, it makes sense (that being said flushing used to make sense) I’m going to do my own test and start flushing 1 of my 6 wedding cakes and 1 of my 6 Shiskaberrys. Do my own tests, visual, smell, taste, weight, and then blind taste test a few with my pals. I’ll post the results on here!

I’ve read that flushing is to rid the plant of chemical salt build up and to improve flavour. I have flushed and not flushed and couldnt detect any flavor change, but curing definitely improves flavour, smell and bud density.
My first indoor grow I used ferts and nutes for tomatoes and general horticulture and noticed a salt residue in the tray after feeding, where as now I use a nutrient line taylored for weed and see no residue so I dont flush but use plain water the last week when the trichs are all cloudy.
