WTF is Sailorboy up to now!?!

Yes, this last run ive added alittle to my water and think I noticed alittle difference. I used cal mag my first 2 grows and i think they ended up worse at the end just like how you discribed, thanks for that cause I’ll continue to do it this way! Have a great day man!!

Yea I swear it’s a double-edged sword with the bottled cal mag or I’m inept with it haha.
For epsom salt, the most I mix in is 1/4teaspoon per one gallon, Every 3-4 waterings.
I may be going a little too lite with it but I’d rather it be in the background of the solution. I don’t really know for sure. Kind of rather operate on the less is more in the nutrient department unless the plants are calling for more. I’m still learning what works best.

Um from what ive read and heard well water treated with softner is not really recommended, im not 100 percent on that but maybe you can add something to counter the softner. I know the salt they use for softner is not the same thing as epsom salt.

Its from the brand epsom salt I’ll go check a bag real quick n see but like do u use fragrance free bath salt or dies it matter I’m new on my 2nd grow so sorry to ask these dumb questions

Well maybe then lol. I have a softner also but tapped into the line right after my first filter and before the softner so i get well water untreated. I guess if your watching your PH and EC you should be ok.

What’s EC an I do test my pH it’s at 6.8-7

I use fragrance free, you can go to walmart and get a pound bag for like 5 dollars. When i get home i’ll take a pic of what I use and show you.

Ok awesome thank u an how much do u put in gallon of water an how often n again thank u appreciate it also I got filter also after the tank an 1 before it comes out of tap so probably not much salt after the filter’s

If im correct EC is the measure of your run off of nutrients from the pot after you water it. I have a meter but i grow in autopots and I dont measure at all. Its a extra way to make sure your nutrient game is on and prevents you from getting nute lockout. But once again im new to this indoor growing also.

I add 1 tablespoon to 5 gallons. I have a 12 gallon reservoir and 25 gallon reservoir. So I measure everything out by 5 gallon mixtures.

I add a half a teaspoon to a gallon once a week.
