I currently work from home, running my own business. I live 3 minutes from my post office and have a TON of knowledge shipping parcels and packages. I have a decent amount of time on my hands most days. However, I understandably cannot be trusted because I’m still new. Also, I don’t live in a legal state FOR GROWING but cannabis seeds are 100% legal. If I was in a legal state, and had some time under my belt, I’d be more than happy to step up to the plate and be a distributor for the U.S. until a better candidate is selected.

I suggested once all co-op, auctions, trades and giveaways going to the Private Lounge to be off radar, that would solve any possible issue, but won’t insist …

My seed collection has doubled in the short time I’ve been here. I almost want to forfeit all my positions on the seed runs to take at least that little bit of work off whoever’s plate it is by the end of this.

honestly I think windy has the answer right here. sending full flips instead of bulk seeds should be co-op SOP.
I donated seeds to the veterans giveaway last year and I did pack them in coin flips myself. it wasn’t that tedious, and it only took about an hour to do. i couldn’t imagine having to make over 500 flips from 8 seedruns in my free time. no wonder Sebring is so behind - all yall do is send him work and, frankly, should be ashamed.

The issue that sickens me is seeing a lot of hyperactive greed from post-Covid newbies.
That while one of the most generous contributors is at best under the weather.
How many posts in the Bodhi thread were sympathy for having a junkie wife divorce situation?
It’s very contrary to the giveaway nature of past sharing. Postage has never been a barrier for anyone, afaik.
Moving this to the private category would be a huge improvement— this/these should NOT be on any search engine. The internet is full of creeps & shitheads & OG has largely defied that, historically. Thank Cannabis.

) & hope it all works out, especially in the case of Sebring.

I would want to do this because I think it’s fun, but I would have no way of sending the packages in bulk to a distributor. Seeds are illegal here and I won’t send out 150 packs in a package with my name on it. Letters can be sent anonymously without entering the post office. My only option right now would be bulk seeds in corrugated plastic in multiple letters. Or send seed packs by myself.

A lot of people pay more than asked and consider it a donation, so my guess is no.
Edit: Also that would require to keep some kind of user account on top of all the other work.

If you overpaid by accident, under normal circumstances you could have messaged Sebring to sort it out, but I think at the moment you would have to wait a while.

I think I’m missing that badge also, lavender and the suges pk x Uzbekistan. Both were done before the badge existed I do believe.
Hope you all can sort this stuff out , there are positive and negative aspects to all options discussed and each person is going to have different outlooks based on there location but what’s best for the site and community is what matters most.

I haven’t spoken up here just cause I don’t want to add to any confusion, and it seems like the proper heads are here hashing things out. But I did want to say that I can see validity in everyones concerns and statements, and will be ready to support whatever changes are made to the coop system that help things out moving forward. Access to these seed runs and distribution is a privilege for sure, so whatever changes we make to lessen the burden on the good folks helping to get these things done I’m in favor of. Full trust in the team here at OG and all the old school heads here trying to sus this thing out.

i’ll admit that i hadn’t considered international borders.
i’d guesstimate that 80% of OG users are in north america and are mailing domestically which means the people donating can at least pack up some their donation.
shows us that the us/can border is an easy cross for seed packs.
