Yesterday was her firstday that tilt downafter the day of ligth day 25 and seedling stage is over , she got topped in the day today and here is at night again after she drop to go dormant, check roots and she can be transplanted, will be preparing a one gallon fabric pot to transplants as soon as i see her responding positive to the topping
So funky looking. Seems like she might be growing out of the variegation a bit.
@beacher i was thinking the same but the new leaves on the growth is variegated too , when was very small was looking like spotting of salt accumulation similar to what they are looking now then suddenly they came with the pattern on the leaves, and shes been putting a lot of root growth in the past 4 days and now shes responding with top growth
Interesting. Maybe you’ll get some cool stripey nugs haha
Very cool…
Looking good, if you’re going to transplant into a bigger pot, (not sure if you know this or not) it’s going to be a task to get the plant out of the 1 gal fabric pot. The roots will grow right into the fabric. So try and transplant fairly quickly before that happens or you will have a tougher time.
Keep ‘r’ green!
I agree, I always transplant right into the final pot , just water only around plant until it gets large enough to water the whole bag of soil.
I’m a little different, I like to go from solo cup (which I’m going to change, and throw seed right into 1 gal for now on) to 1 gal plastic to 3 gal plastic then into 5-10 gal fabric for final pot.
When transplanting, I like to wet the entire pot. Starting from the bottom up, then watering the top till a little run off.
The reason I do this is I think while the soil dries out, the plant will stretch it’s roots in search of water in the container, giving a faster and bigger roots structure. This is just what I belive, don’t know if it’s true or not, just something I do…
@HaRdRoC the technique you tell me i ise it but on autoflowers , i like for.the plant to try tl grab the soil before transplant , the fabric pot o use 8s intended tonise as a transplant one, os a pot thay is like open on the side and is easy to pell from the rootmass of the plant , i dont mind the root that came out from.the bottom.s.ooner.or.later.they will air prune soon, an what i have notice qith my man lants is that i like for.them to get dry enough, i do organics to preserve bacterial life use biochar if it gets too dry , but they like to ise several dry days , have found plant grows faster, o was going to put it in a u.gal fabric pot to add it to the current grow but still thinking of she will catch up to the rest , thats why i dismt put her in a bigger pot and have her apart to control growth, still thinking if will keep as a mother plant, (i like the mothers better from seed than from clone) i think thats why o didn’t put it in the final pot still thinking if she will be added to the tent or not , cheers and happy Growing
This is how it’s supposed to be done, I sit there and fill my trays and wait til they soak up and fill it again
I lear how to water from bottom when was learning how to grow bonsai , even mix of media is really similar in that have to be a ligth mix with a lot of water retention bit with plenty space for air to the roots , , i think watering from the tray up is the best option as soon as you see the soil dont pull anything more from tray then just throw the excess water , last autoflower i grew i water when transplant to the 7 gallon and she was water again more than 2 weeks later sometimes they need those extra dry days to get strong and encourage plant to search for water
@STIGGY i will love to but i have to move her pater and what is left of my back just told me this time dont over do it hahaha , even a 4 gallon pot is freaking heavy for me right now , and i have been schooled by the surgeon and my wife that i have to keep it low, so was planning to do in smaller pots until get some money to stablish 4 20 gallon pots inside the 4x4 to ise them as a grow bed and just transplant in it solo cups and one gallon pot plants
I understand completely, I too suffer from that Old age Back degeneration L6 L5 L4. sucks trying to go to sleep at night
Take it easy Brother , No one to impress here.
I try to work with 5 gallon smart pots with handles, my wife can help me lift them with us both on different sides .
Feel Better,
Yes is similar to what i do too, i like to have the ones with handels if too heavy i pull em with the cane lmao or i have and old chair base , the ones with wheels, u pull the pot on top and then move it around on top of it pulling it with the cane, thats the way i move the 20 gallon fabric ones
Green

Grats , but I wish you were not hurt to begin with and I am sure you do too.
My friends a few are all disabled and me too but I retired instead of filing .
They had to jump through hoops and bark like dogs to finally get it, What a pain they say it was.
The back pain sure will be nice, as long as you did not dig a deep hole waiting to get it.
Most people go broke and lose their house before they get it, Glad you got it.
You in States or neighbor to the north, I know Canada has a disability system as well but not sure how that works.
