I’ve done both, but primarily use it for fresh frozen then press to rosin. I usually run four bags 220,160, 45, and 25 microns. I mix the 159-45 micron washes and press in a 37 micron screen. The 160 and 25 micron heads usually get used in edibles.

like, literally you just pulled the plant, put in the freezer, or it’s been cured for awhile, then frozen?

Yep, cut, freeze, wash. Only trimming I have to do is leaves without trichomes and removing buds from the stems.

I’ll have to try this out. Seems like it would be a lot easier than drying and curing, plus, i like to smash stuff LOLOL.

I get the 160 in the edibles, but the 25? wouldn’t that be the finest, and purest hash?

Not really, thats all the fine particulate. The 25 micron is never good quality. Barely with collecting IMO.
Look at it under the microscope some time. Its mostly contaminant not hash.

I also don’t squish it because it is smaller than the 37 micron rosin bags i use.
