wanted to know if this is any good for rooting clones, I scavenged a few pieces from a floral bouquet I got from a funeral last week…I wanted to know if anyone ever used this stuff before

I’ve used it, cut into 1.5 inch squares. It was over 20 yrs ago, but I remember it worked. It took longer to get root when compared to rockwool and therefore more chance for the cut to go sideways. I’d say 60% as effective as rockwool.

Well…I’m going to try them out and see what happens. It wasn’t much to begin with, but whatever pieces that weren’t crushed, speared through or crumbled off I cut into small cubes…

Idk if it’ll work, but used foam from a floral arrangement seems like pathogen city, so sterilize them well first.

I agree. I use to buy new blocks from a florist because there was no hydro shops near me back then.
