Addicted to HAZE - Haze only thread (Part 1)

Information passed down by growers / breeders and people that have worked with Haze is important and a lot more important to that of a story that has changed so many times threw the years. Sharing what works and wont does not work helps others working with Haze.

Why does Haze need to be grown in the tropics ?

Haze was breed and made in California then in the mid 80s went to Holland and Holland is were the seed was made and sold and the line was spread far and wide. Sure the lines allegedly used to make Haze came from sub tropical and tropical regions but Haze did not.

Yeah mine have all had this smell to them. I got them from Rare Dankness the first year they came out. They’re definitely one of the strongest smelling plants I’ve grown. It’s definitely one of the most potent as well.

I grow and breed for my self the only judge that counts is me because what i select for and breed towards is for my personal needs.

I dont sell seed or am i a commercial breeder if i was i still wouldn’t care WHY simple you can not please every one all the time.

People have grown out my NH and i only got positive feed back.

I dont need to prove any thing to any one.

Exactly!!! It’s a polyhybrid in a clouded history.
One thing fore sure, there’s at least a minimum general pattern of her but once again…
As I told here before, first season testing my Evening Eve Brazilian fellows related to Manga Rosa cuz of the mango smell, although there is a lot, a lot of profile coming from each generation

This F2 is in week 19 its almost white from the resin and continues to throw runners and flower and was put into flower at 10/14 then i think a month ago i reduced the flower time to 8/16 to see if i could get her to speed up. Put into flower a lot smaller than i normally would as i was not concerned about the yield but was more hunting for a set type.

Understanding the line you grow comes from both other people information and from hands on as Haze is not a stable line not all plants will be winners.

When i set out to breed with Nevils Haze i didn’t set out to improve it i just wanted to preserve it.

Then i started to breed towards the HzA side and the HzC side.

And no. And don’t consider nl5xhaze as a haze, nor any other crosses just to simply tag a “haze” name on branding.
Didn’t do it myself with my polyhybrid. My game is fair play. I did use an Afghani in the cross

Looks great! Thanks for preserving.

How far have you worked each side ? Or maybe I saw you say somewhere that you got lucky and both phenos pop up in the F2?

Neville’s Haze are truly exotic shite. Even the most seasoned toker agrees

It took me a long time to figure out the puzzle but once i did it was easy.

I have taken them to F3s now but in two different directions from F2 to F3 and now planning on a third.

Haze grown in California was in greenhouses for the most part. And it was only there for a couple generations at the best. It’s a long flowering tropical variety that needs to be able to grow until January without freezing. A greenhouse or tropical climate is what’s needed for a true expression of the genetic potential. @hempy would you like to enter your NH in the Haze cup?
I have the Greenhouse and MR Nice seeds of NH to add.

I don’t have NH in pure form anymore. Planned to get Shanti one once again but I shes is so still dominant in the cross that my small task is to keep moving on F2 cuz she always appears somehow.

I was interested on trying Kees Haze, but why put more mess in the hurricane. Last week testing a odd pheno from Evening Eve like mid/mid from O.H. and NH.
Had my pressure felt and I had a heck of a head hit. Still traumatized. But one thing is very funny, before I went to the hospital I’ve cleaned the hole bloody mess alone and energetically lol

The reality is Haze was breed and created in California Haze was not Breed in the subtropics or the tropics it is and always will be a Californian line as far as i am concerned.

It then went to Holland and that is were the real breeding on Haze happened and the seed was sold and spread far and wide.

I ran an experiment years ago with 8 different Mango Haze F1 clones grown indoors and the same clones grown out doors in a sub tropical climate.

The smoke of each was the same the duration of high strength and type of high did not change.

Indoors vs out doors dose not matter what matters is the plants are grown correctly and allowed to mature fully that alone is key next is how people handle the harvest from drying to cure.

People grow indoors for many reasons.

Agree. Mine we tried outdoors in four seasons. I live in a tropical country. Totally different outcome and results.

I like out doors and i like indoors both have positives and negatives but not every ones legal or are they in a climate / environment suited for ether sativas or indicas for that matter. Indoors allows you to control the environment and grow what you want in a stealthy way. .

So you’re entering into the indoor Haze cup? We can totally accommodate that if you wish
