Not sure where to look and kinda feeling lazy tbh
But I was looking at purchasing a new light off amazon and found a HGL 100 and was wondering if this is a good deal or if anyone has suggestions on something else. Appreciate the feedback in advance

Not bad I just bought 3 4000K sol-strips and a 120-watt driver for about the same price.

I have no experience with that stuff or the DIY LED’s out there… thought there might be a someone who builds and sells this stuff at a decent price but I can’t find anything especially here in the great white north
reviews say the light runs hot, but reviews look good. hell they even list the diode.
what size of area are you growing in?
im still in the stone age with a 600w hps.

2x2x4 grow tent at the moment
Will probably be switching to a 3x4 closet in the future using only 3x3 of that area tho

I run a 600w HPS in a 38x38" tent and could probably go 1K in a cooled hood.
I’m a canuck as well, and good led anything is super expensive here. I run HID still, and vent them into my house air return for the furnace to recycle the heat, that way I dont feel like I’m wasting money.
In the summer? Outside
