Backcrossing to an "aunt" or "uncle" plant?

What have you seen when back-crossing to an original F1 sibling as opposed to the specific ancestor, not it’s sibling?

My uneducated guess is that the further out the backcross’ed descendent is, the more surprises show up… ?

As in, i didn’t keep the parents but have 2 seeds left

I did this recently with CBDream x Critical Kush. Back crossed it to a CBDream “aunt”. Time will tell what the outcome will be (the seeds were just harvested a month ago). I plan to back cross it again to another CBDream “aunt” for a BX2. Perhaps even one more time after that…
