Nice. My cottage/retirement home is on Kaminiskeg lake. I know that area very well, been going there since I was a kid. The 2 lakes are actually attached by the Madawaska river. You flew in, I just take my ATV or Jet Skis.

I think I am referring to a different Bark Lake. It is about 2.5-3 hours north of Elliot Lake. On a gravel road turning into a loggers road turning into an A.T.V. trail. Not sure if you can even still drive there.

Cobre lake has a mine on the one end of the lake where we used to go into the end of the mine shaft and if you went deep enough there was ice year round. They ended up blasting it shut.

Oh, I see. I have been up to Elliot Lake so no, not the same. Bark Lake by my place is closer to the south west corner of Algonquin park.
