Yes it has. Good to be back and above ground still. Garden went almost to complete shit while I was gone. Lost Delta, and and Beta patch has a few stragglers. Might be able to salvage some from Alpha, but sepotoria wiped my shit out.
Been the worst year in a decade or more.

Looks like a ground hog. It’s some sort of rodent at the very least. You can tell from the teeth. Looks tasty.! :joy:

You too??? Septoria is running rampant here, it’s absolutely crazy. It decimated my apple tree, my maples have it, poplars and ash have it, and it’s taken its toll on my crop this year. It’s hard to get out to the swamp, because the mosquitoes are the worst I’ve ever had in 17 years of living here, and bug spray works mediocre at best, walk out to the swamp boxes, and they’re out by the 100,000’s.
Walked out to my back 2 1/2 acres, and Septoria is on about every tree out there. Last year, it was PM, this year it’s Septoria and mosquitoes, SMH

I noticed it was on my maples and other plants too. At first I thought it had dropped down from the sumac, they have it too. I can’t stop singing Metallicas ‘Sanitarium’ changing the words to 'Sepatoria, Leave Me Be, Sepatoria, just leave me alone…"
Not working.
One should note, any beans crafted within the Seps range, can and will be infected and passed on. Do I couldn’t use any of my pollen this year. Hoping it will hang on one more year… otherwise I’d be giving it away…Uploading: IMG_20230919_071517.jpg…

I roast my duck in a rotisserie and there is almost zero fat left on it when I am done. The skin comes out super crispy. I will take a picture next time I cook one. I did it for shits and giggles the first time figuring why not try it and it ended up being one of the best things I’ve ever had, still to this day. The first time I cooked it, I did it at the in-laws and I had a backup lasagna because I really thought it would taste like crap, the lasagna got tossed out nobody could believe how delicious the duck was.

I still have five ducks and four geese to harvest from this years hatching. A rotisserie sounds very interesting…
I’m going to give that a try. Thanks @THCeed .

A cows udder perhaps?

You are in the states, so you will probably get one pretty cheap. I managed to get my hands on a Ronco Rotisserie have a look for one it changed my life I bought two right away and one has been in storage for 12 years just waiting I will not live a day without one ever again.

We have two of them and use the smaller one quite often. The largest one will hold a 14 lb turkey. I think it’ll work. lol

For sure, they are amazing. It’s funny I hunt and kill almost everything I eat as far as meat goes and yet the duck I bought from Walmart “yuck” is so incredible done like that.
