Hello there all you OGers. I come to you tonight on a mission. It came to my attention recently that our very own @toastyjakes and his Mrs. were having a difficult time as she was injured a year ago and things have been progressing from there. You can find some more information on the circumstances here in his thread.

Longest week ever

Starting this off, we went on vacation last week… spent a few days in georgia… got the hell out of iowa… it was nice… Get back and have to head back to work… we farm hogs… we make the little pigs that get sent somewhere else to get big for a few months and then sent to make all the awesome pork products we like so much… mmmmm bacon… A little over a year ago, the lady hurt her shoulder at work… bosses messed around too long and she couldnt get a workers comp claim foled because of the time it …

So after reading that one of our site greats was having such a time I reached out to him and discussed putting on a little auction to help him out. @toastyjakes is a hard working man who works on a farm with pigs as does his Mrs. Maybe you have stumbled into the “Who has chickens” thread as I have. Or perhaps you have run into him as a MOD who keeps this amazing place running and deals with all the crap we lay on them. However you have come across him, unless you were not behaving, you would likely to have found him to be great guy with a good sense of humor. A helpful guy that helped guide you though something on OG. However you know him, it’s likely, you know him. So we reached out to @LemonadeJoe who graciously gave us the green light for this event.

The next step was to reach out to some well known members here to donate some seeds. Well, @FirstCavApache64 , @JohnnyPotseed ,@JustANobody, @ReikoX, @GCBudz, @JAWS, @misterbee @Bobgrows, @Rhai88,@LoveDaAutos, @CapnCannabis , @OriginalDankmaster96 , @Pigeonman , @willie , @THCeed, @Budderton, @freed111, @shag , @Kavman , @CoastalMarySeeds @santero, @olschool, @Crafty_Flame, @Than , @RainToday , @Wizdom and @blowdout2269 all stepped up in an instant and their support was overwhelming. Thank you all for your donations and for being you.

So what we are going to do is put on an auction with all the proceeds going to help out @toastyjakes . All winners will be paying to him directly through PayPal. Now this is going to be an interesting one. I have grouped all the donations together into lots containing at least 3 packs per lot, some with many more. Shipping is being covered by the donors who will be sending out the seeds to the winners.

So how about it OG. Shall we rally together and show @toastyjakes how much we love and appreciate him? This community is full of so much good that I think this is the perfect time to harness that and show one of our own how just how much we care. Bid with your hearts everyone. There is lots to choose from so don’t be shy. Let’s get this rolling.

Auction rules

• Each lot will be sold to the highest bidder.
• You are bidding on each of the listed lots separately. Post lot number and your bid with USD price.
• When you post a bid, your previous bids are considered canceled. You may bid on multiple lots in one post.
• Whenever you outbid someone, please tag him/her using @ to notify him/her.
• Bidding starts at 10 USD. Minimal bid increment is 5 USD.
• Auction will end on 2024-04-15T01:00:00Z. Last accepted bid needs to be placed in the last second of an hour or earlier.

If someone can’t find a lot to bid on there, they are not a grower, lol. I know there is much to take in but it will run for a week so lots of time to look at the 68 lots. There are a few with 10 packs, a couple that get you custom t-shirts. A handful that get you 3 of my collector cards. A bunch of packs straight from the @CoastalMarySeeds bank. The list goes on and on. But hey, we have much love for our brother @toastyjakes so if we were going to do this, we were going all in.

@DougDawson I will edit my auctions tomorrow first thing so it’s a bit more clear. Basically adding parentheses to make it more clear similar to what I have seen from others on the list. Also all the Temple Flo crosses I made during the repro I did last year I will modify the amount to a higher number. Thanks for all the time Doug it sure is something special to admire.
