Boosting Trichomes w/ Wind/Light

I read online that trichomes protect against pests, light, wind, etc.

Can we induce light and wind to produce more trichomes?

Will blasting a bud site with extra light and wind cause it to produce more trichomes?

Anyone have experience here? Discuss…

I’m thinking yes.
The extra light will produce bulk, and the wind will keep them from burning?
