Cannabis Current Events (Part 2)

I’d support an unlicensed shop over a dispensary any day of the week.

par for the course - Uncle Sam makes it really difficult to do “licensed” business (presumably b.c of industry lobbyists) and then needs to use tax payer resources to “combat” the visible black market growing by leaps and bounds. Here’s a novel idea, how about allowing open competition the way that Maine medical is operating?

Wow, what a concept…How is it you can see this but the big boys can’t?
Maybe they don’t wanna see it…

Same as Missouri. There are 30%+ strains advertised as for sale in despensaries here. They might have been 20% THC before they were shaved down to the bone for concentrates and edibles.

Adults 21 years and older can grow up to three mature and three immature plants at home.

I think 6 plants is going to be the new normal.
I can have 12, are they going to cut my plant count back too?

This lab is run by state cops, same cops that had like 60 thousand pounds recalled for improper testing.
These are dirty cops running a dirty operation.
How are they still in business?
Oh yea, they are dirty cops…LOL

Seems to be what most states are running with, though lower than that seems to be happening a lot, too.

I agree, that is probaly not good news for those like me that are allowed 12 plants.
It will soon be argued that 6 is all you need so we are cutting your plant count back.

This seems to be moving in the wrong direction.
What # will they settle on in the end?
Does this concern anyone else?

At this point I’ve mostly accepted that I’m going to be an outlaw the rest of my life. It’s been legalized here for years and my plant count is still 0, with one seedling being considered a felony. I don’t like it much, but I’d rather accept it than get high blood pressure over it every morning.

What would happen if there was a crowdfunding mission to raise money for a PAC that greases the wheels on plant counts?

Sad to say, but pay to play with these honest-to-goodness politicians seems to be the MO in this country.

the other labs say the keif lost is negligible yet they claim that this one lab is using it to throw off samples lol

The CannaCorpo big guys want it to be zero, and they have the money to buy enough politicians to get their way.

In michigan the dispenceries pay employees to go to the state capital and protest home growing and cargivers.
They get a big turnout too.
It is rather disgusting to me. :face_vomiting:

That worries me. I’ve been planning to move to Michigan so I am no longer an outlaw. I guess nowhere is safe for the home grower these days. Money talks I guess.

It is still pretty good here, the prices at the stores is rock bottom but you don’t know what you are getting.
BTW
The caregivers are fighting back, they can still have large plant counts, but when those guys are done, the next to go are the homegrowers.
But we are not really even close to that yet but it is and will be a battle.
