Cannabis Current Events (Part 2)

Cannabis legalization has nothing to do with helping We the People. It has everything to do with enriching the ruling Corporate elite even more. The Guillotine was invented for a reason.

The look on their face when they realize they flushed a bunch of money down the drain and they might go to prison.

I love that look! You know the one, when the bad guys realize that warm feeling on their legs is them pissing themselves when they find out that their crooked, poorly built house is falling in around them and the door is bolted shut!

The state government’s bynzantenian structure for legal weed all but guarantees nobody will profit but the state. Add in people who know nothing of running a business, taking key position in the pot industry and the whole thing, as seen from the outside, looks like a Rube Goldberg operation. Unfortunately, from the inside, it’s a nightmare.

New York mandates Aspergillus testing.
Though I think the labs plate it and see if its still alive. Dead spores are a pass.

I knkw farms doing Ozone to kill it in the drying room, as well as aerosolizing Tera Vera (some kind of organic oxidizer) in the drying room to kill all microbes.
This will cause short shelf-life of the product as probiotic microbes are what allow the plant to cure and be stored for a year and still be a good product.
But, weed in NY doesn’t sit around for long.

The DEA doesnt exist to stop drugs.
They exist to seize assets in legal cases to pay for wars that Congress wont pay for.

Bring in the drugs from around the world, make money selling them, raid certain people making money from drugs and conduct civil asset forfeiture to get paid again for the drugs they brought in, raid the evidence room and put the drugs back on the streets, repeat the process.
Look into the French Connection and Pizza Connection to see this in action.

As much as I agree the social equity program there, and in other places, are inadequate… I think it’s a little too easy, and giving him a little too much credit, to put all the blame on one person. The problem with the plan to make cannabis a Black-dominated industry as compensation for historic discrimination is a simple, but massive, one. Unless it’s legal to discriminate against everyone else in order to keep them from taking advantage of the opportunities, they’re going to. Corporate America, regardless of color, has more resources to take advantage of those opportunities and thus will always have a head start. All that’s left is to watch the blame and recriminations fly as these programs fail to accomplish their goals, unfortunately.
