Sometimes I tie branches down with twine but I’m using Kyle’s technique more and more now because it’s faster.

I’ll post how many seeds are available this weekend, at least that’s my plan. I’d like to see the full range of possibilities and I can’t grow them all in a count-limited society. I’m really curious myself, because I’ve never really done this before. Not with a photo or an F1.

Okay, I’ve got some good news and some bad news. The good news is that I know how many seeds I have. The bad news is that I know how many seeds I have.
Aside from 11 I’m holding back and a couple of flips I’ve given to others, these are all the seeds:
7 flips of 8 seeds each. I’ll make a sign-up wiki and if more than 7 sign up I’ll do a drawing, but also sweeten the pot.
I’m almost ready for the next try, and now I have a brood tent and won’t have to isolate the dad before pollen shows up. So I’ll make more seeds.
Here’s the tent. Right now it has the next generation of moms (a Scorpion Candy, a Cap Junky, and an Apple Fritter). Then an extra that’s vegging while the space is there. The pollen donor is a Scorpion Candy in a five gallon still in the veg area. Once all four have vegged sufficiently I’ll put them together on 12s and let them do their thing.

I have seven slots, but expect twice that many to sign up. This is for eight Scorpion Candy S1 seeds. Add more numbers as needed. If more than seven show up I’ll hold a drawing for the seeds and some extras.
