You use neem oil on your plants? Just reading something about it. I use it. But not that much. Reading that it could be bad for ya.
Nope never used neem. I use more natural methods if I have pest/pm issues.
Heard nothing but good things about sour d…
Will be tagging along silently…
I seen you where having problems. Good luck with your run
Depends what for, I will use dish soap if I get mites, but it can burn your plants pretty bad if the lights are on. I don’t always have the luxury of timing things like that with my shift work. I use ladybugs too. I only ever have mite problems when I bring outdoor plants indoors, so sunmer/fall. I make sure to bleach my room heavily in between crops so I’ve never got carry over mite issues. For Powdery mildew I use peroxide. It’s one of the best all natural cures. Again, usually only on my outdoor as I have my Temps and humidity controlled well in my room. For aphids I use skim milk. All soft bodied insects are lactose intolerant and they absorb the milk through their skins and pretty much just explode. I use skim milk because 1%, 2%, homo milk have fat that can go rancid.
Only ever experienced SD in crosses, have never grown or smoked a pure SD or SD backcross. I’ll have to keep a close eye on this one and hope I can make the signup before it fills up
I was in a little pain last night. Sorry for the chatter. Always look forward to your seed run. You have been a good hand. One Love. Slow down bro. Your working to hard.
Here’s what’s going onon in the tent now. As I harvest from my flower room over the next couple/few weeks I’ll move these over to the flower room. The Transkei x Durban Poison will be the first to leave for the flower room, probably tomorrow or Thursday. Think I’ll chop the God buds as I didn’t get a male. Maybe keep one for a pollination. The Super Lemon Haze and 1 or 2 Sour Diesel will go to the flower room last making room in the breeding tent for the show
Here’s a little close up of the sour diesels and a couple singles.
Sour is also one of my favorites.
The Sour D we had from late 90s eary 2000s was amazing. Nice up borderline trippy high. Kept your head clear, but brought apon some very deep and imaginative thoughts.
Gave a pep to your step, but had a lingering surreal kind of otherworldly ambiance to your reality.
The last time I had her, I was outside on a windy night, alone. It was around 3am and I had just watched a documentary on space.
I stepped outside to smoke and look up at the stars, and when it hit me I started hearing strange sounds. I knew it was just branches creeking in the wind, but my brain kept trying to convince me it was an alien language. The sound reminded me of the sounds the predator makes. Those knocking sounds and creeks. So the creeks sounded as if they were communicating to my thoughts. Like I said to myself “no no thats just the wind dude.” But then the trees sounds would make pitches or squeak sounds that were high pitched and my mind told me an up pitch was a happy tone and it was a response from a deep space creature.
Anyeay the more I was convinced this was happening, the more I started freking out. And then as the wind picked up I was hearing the creaking from all directions. Once the aliens had surrounded me I knew it was time to go inside
I calmed down after that and it became a nice constructive high. I was able to study or read with some different and out of the box thoughts helping me comprehend the subjects differently. I was able to write some very interesting songs on my guitar, and I even was able to get up and clean my room and kitchen. Then I got hungry, ate, and pased out watching a movie.
Has a really nice taste of almost like a fuel gas citrus.
Still one of my favorite canna tastes.o
Only second to NY Piff. That was a churchy/incense taste.
I actually used to roll both of those together when I had access to them both. How I miss those two. After mid 2000s both disapeared off the menu of strains I could pick up.
Wow those all look beautiful. They have a nice healthy green going. Im excited for this run. I think tob dawg will be the closest I would be able to find of the original Sour D. I hope I can jump on the wiki when you post it.
Sending good vibes your way.
Really cool experience! We are quite a ways away from town, I spend a good amount of time outside staring at the stars and the milky way right above with no light pollution. Also love being outside during storms. The Sour Diesel is perfect for enhancing the imagination whilst keeping you alert!
There should be lots of room, ill give a heads up before I create it!
Same. I live out in the woods about 10 miles from a town. I cant see the milkyway , but the star are beautiful. Expessially during the winter nights.
It is my favorite thing to do, to be outside in nature with a bowl or a joint. Just go for a walk and or just sit on a rock in silence and watch all the life around me move in the woods. That is a peace I hope everyone can experiance one day.
And yes please let me know. I would love to try these out.
I was raised in the slummiest part of Boston (Roxbury) till I was 16. I’m about as CITY as one can get. But, I can attest to the magnificence of being in nature, fishing, hiking, or just sitting somewhere beautiful, is a very special experiece for sure. I do it as much as possible. Easier now, since I live in Oklahoma.
@Jinglepot great run! haven’t had the pleasure of Sour D has always been on the to aquire list now you make it possible.
Ive just arrived ill finish reading this later today
Hey @Jinglepot dint know if you’ve seen this or not but I caught this FCP podcast a while back about the origins of sour and whatnot. Didn’t retain a lot of the info, so I’m due for a rewatch myself but fun stuff to listen to while you’re working in the garden there
Thanks! I’ll have a listen for sure!
I thought there was another one too but I’m not finding it, might have been wrong, it’s happened before
I love the social media person for the Oklahoma department of wildlife. They’re hilarious. I’ll just link to their Twitter for you @BigMike55 .

But living in nature is much healthier for me than the city, or even suburbs.
