Soil, just straight up Promix HP and ive added a bit more perlite to it. I swear by Rhyzotonic and Cannazyme and B52 for nice looking roots!

Last time that I smoked Sour Diesel was winter of 2017 during trip to NY. Exciting to obtain seeds for this beauty. Be still my beating heart

Everyone I talk to has a special place in their heart for the sour d and usually have a cool story or memory attached to it

the only time I had sour was when I was 16 in NY. I paid I think 80 bucks for an eighth and it came in like a clear plastic box. Smoked it and spent the whole afternoon walking around the LES baaaaked.

Really excited to have the opportunity to possibly sign up for the seeds.

Sour D was one of the first named strains that we became aware of where I grew up. We’d drive into DC to a super sketchy area to cop from the one guy we knew who had it. We’d get the call that homie got re’d up and put together a posse and shoot down there to pick up what we could afford and would cruise back on the beltway smoking joints and bowls. Not too smart in hindsight but good times for sure.

When I was in high school, it was all skunk and Blueberry… but really good skunk and Blueberry. (Those 2 still have that nostalgia to me). I moved to Victoria the day after I graduated, and my first hook up was carrying God bud and Sour Diesel. I got a bag of each and fell in love with a city! I explored, smoking bowls, for about 6 or 7 hours walking all over the city. Through parks, stopping for eats. The day is forever etched in my mind. I ended up meeting my downstairs neighbors in the apartment i was renting and we bonded and became lifelong friends over that sour diesel.

Some memories here! These were called “coffins.” They were all over the LES, Harlem, and around Dyckman St.

No way, thats sick. I was blown away by the plastic box lolol. I wish I had got to try some of that haze though when I was there. I always hear about that ny haze, but I still remember being blown away by the flavour on the sour.

I remember reading an article in rolling stone mag about the early Delivery services in NYC putting the nugs in those clear plastic boxes, I remember thinking that was pretty choice compared to the cigarette cellophane we used to get buds in

I’ve never seen anything like that. Maybe because I’m in an illegal state. Dont know if I’ve ever smoked any. At my age I would think I have. Most wasnt named until recently

20 years ago all the Michigan grown sour d from the real deal cut all went to New York City where it was flipped for like $600 an ounce. I miss those days. Hope you find some lip smacking sour potency out of your efforts my friend. Stay frosty!

@sprinklememaynee & @LegsMahoney this is what I was referencing, though I never did the delivery services. Is this the same kind of container you fellas are speaking on?

Everything goes here! Thoughts, prayers, stories, side bars and everything in-between! As long as everyone is enjoying the show!

I’ll have some updates tomorrow evening once I’m off the ski hill!

I’m pretty sure they eventually started spraying everything with terps or something and called it all sour.
I remember getting all kinds of different looking shit that all smelled exactly the same and was always wet and always called NYS. This was prob 2003-5
