Thanks Bobbie! @Carty was a big part of that and this preservation run. We all were close friends with the breeder “Deadvet” Lady Z and I were supposed to work on the DD pheno for him but, life happened…
I forgot about the bush pheno, until Carty reminded me about it, this was 18 years ago, lol. More importantly Carty sent me these seeds and I knew we all had to preserve them.
We both would love to, unfortunately I’m not able to travel, yet. but I’m working on it.sound like a hellava good time!!

Honestly I don’t know how I missed this gem of an idea for pollen sifting. Bubble bags are the perfect sifting screen and I will be using mine after seeing your posts!

It’s SO much easier!
I bought an XL extra deep litter box-- wean shake the boys into that (it’s super shiny/slick inside) and then dump/scrape the pollen and flowers into the bubble bag (we roll-down the sides 1st) and carefully tap the bottom… it all falls out onto our parchment- and gets scraped into the pollen storage container to dry (it has a mesh top).
Almost dry now-- and will be packaged and frozen.
