(complete) Celtic Stone Preservation run 2023 by Draig and Lady Zandra

That’s a sad frigging sight to see brother. I sent some of all the strains that we received from the spring box and the extras that our mutual buddy Ottafish sent. 10 pucks all together.
I can’t understand why the postal workers ignored both the stamps and in red ink, Hand Sort only! What a waste. Sorry bro! I’ll have Lady Z help put something nice together and get you something nice out very soon.

Overdue update :

It’s about time we updated. Lady Z clipped some small lower buds to see what’s what and it looks like 2/3 of the seeds are nice and fully developed the other lighter seeds in the pics passed the pinch test, although are much lighter.
Deb clipped the tops off the Xmas tree. It looks like the trichs could have gone a little longe,r but the plants look like they put all their energy into making seeds, anyway, seeds are what we’re after.

We did a germination test, just for the hell of it, after a week of drying the sample buds. They really need a longer dry time. We did get 70% to show tails, including the lighter seeds. The longer the dry time, the better the germ ratio, so we’ll probably let them dry at another 2 weeks or so, after the buds are dry, to do another test. The ones that have tails are being planted to see if they come up.

The bud is in a small paper cereal bowl

Small Xmas tree bud seeds.

Like Draig mentioned, we had to let these plants go a lot longer than we would to just harvest buds… and many of the leaves are dying… so they are not looking so great anymore.

But this is all about getting as many of these seeds to ripen as possible…they were so heavily seeded, that they are taking longer to ripen than expected- but it is normal.
In nature, they just keep ripening until the plant dies…NOT doing THAT…but are harvesting in a couple days.

We already chopped the top of the Xmas Tree pheno- as her buds are the smallest. But seems they could have gone longer too…many pale seeds; but in our tests so far, even THOSE have a 50% germ rate (70% with the darker ones, but we hadn’t let them dry all the way yet either!)

Got some popping now-- may grow out a few- just to see… or maybe another SMALL run…?
 :+1:

I’ve never heard of this strain before but from the details sounds amazing! Next run is already planned, as a member here is sending me strains I’ve been searching for and I gave him my word they would be ran next! So after that I’d really like to do an OG run from strains I’ve obtained here preserved by members like you two!:grin::grin:

What state went legal? That’s awesome tho, still patiently waiting on mine, our Governor is anti cannabis but vote is going to the people this year after last year’s failed attempt. If it doesn’t pass I’m leaving the state no question, I refuse to be considered a criminal by lawmakers any longer over a PLANT!!!
