(complete) Temple Flo Co-op preservation seed run

Anything fish is good in my book. Except using outdoors. Critters like to mess in it.

By far cheaper and better results then my 13 jug concoction of general hydro crap I was on .

Which ran around 1400.00 vs under 300.00 for plant prod.

Wow I do t know why I thought these would be lankier, with longer internodes, but I dig the looks regardless :v:t2:

Is there a website that sells the product or is it all shipped to specific suppliers? I can’t seem to find anything on the web and their affiliates seem to be scattered to the wind, ie nothing even remotely close to where I live.

So… Maui wowie is supposedly Oaxacan. Most of the early Hawaiian stuff is Colombian, Mexican and Thai that BOEL brought in. It wasnt until Op green harvest that Afghanis had started to be utilized to help avoid detection. DJ has not mentioned that he noticed any similarity with the Hawaiian he grew with the Thai’s and Oaxacan he was growing. At least from what ive read from him, he never added the Hawaiian he grew to his breeding programs…
I would say DJ stuff is his own work. Maybe i havent found the right info yet…

Btw, Looking good @Kavman !

Colombian wasn’t used in Hawaiian - Lumbo was horrible in Hawaii
Afghan came back around the mid-late 60s, well before Green Harvest. It was used in all the Hawaiian lines since Hawaii has wonky seasons compared to California and Colorado.
Hawaiians are mostly Thai x Oax x Affy. Same as Flo and BB.

Thanks for the reply. It is hard to find consistent info on Hawaiian strains. So depending on the info will lead to different conclusions… Good info to know. Thanks @Wuachuma

For sure.
Ive talked to a few of the old breeders.
They said they tried Lumbo when they first scoped out Hawaii in the mid 60s and it wouldnt finish, just revegged.
So they used Mexi x Affy(NLD) as the backbone of all their breeding in Hawaii. That got crossed to Swazi, Thai, Jamaican.
I got that verified by Snowhigh and NL Greg

I had heard it didnt do well like it did in Cali. But yeah, The fog is thinning. Thanks again. Good to hear your cross-referencing from multiple reliable sources.

I didn’t know what to expect. Excited to see the stretch phase and how the clones compare to their mothers.

Had some Skunk Hawaiian seeds back in the day. They came from Marc Emery seeds in Canada. This was in the mid 90’s. We kept the one that leaned to the skunkier side. It was also much smaller. It was sweet and skunky. I only can imagine it was similar to the Island sweet skunk. Fast forward to now and made a few seeds from a skunk Hawaiian that I picked up this year from AMS. Didn’t get anything that resembled the one we had. I have 6 more to try. I will hopefully have a few of those crossed with my Flo to share.

I bought DJ Short FLO seeds from Marc Emery in 1996. When it grew out it looked similar to your #8.

That’s awesome. Did you go to his shop in London Ontario?

Nahh… Good old fashion mail order. I remember they arrived in white corrugated plastic. FRIENDLY STRANGER was my first smoke shop visit in Toronto, on my first trip to Canada.

The seed run has officially flipped. Timers set 11 on 13 off. Didn’t get a chance to get a picture before lights out though.
