30 seeds per pack would take care of 4500 of them lol

@Kavman that is a killer outcome for a strain that is truly worthy of preservation!

If you decide to package them before sending them for distribution, I recall @DougDawson saying recently that 1/8 of a teaspoon is the SOP for what goes in each individual package, I wonder what the safest/most time efficient packaging is.
Would it be the coin flip/washer, or is that not enough space for such a scoop of seeds? What if you wanted to do a quarter tsp scoop

Not sure. I will be talking with @G-paS soon. I don’t have containers. I am a rookie at this sort of thing so one day at a time. I would like to germ test them as well prior to shipping. One other thing was keeping the ratios of the plants the same. I had topped one at it produce 1/3 of the rest. So for the fairness of all the seed mothers they should all be mixed together at the same weight. Any thoughts on this would be appreciated.

It’s not an expectation that you package them, G-paS just needs them sooner if they’re coming in bulk (and, of course, it makes life easier for the distributors).
The most common thing I see coming from Sebring are the little flat flip top discs, and I’d bet they’re about a dime apiece.

They only come in packages of 1000 or more, just an FYI. That’s direct from the company. I also get these but use a smaller size. I like the smaller ones better. They are both cheaper and take up less space in the mailer. There are a few places you can find them on Ebay in smaller lots for more money. Also a 1/4 teaspoon is going to give up over 40 seeds depending on their size. Regardless, this run was Co-op approved so they can be sent in bulk. We are limiting the number of runs to 10 per box and a number of these are from Canada so will come pre packaged by me. The work load for this next box will be significantly smaller.
