Hi, I bought this one in July for my lung room, because it has WiFi and has a pump, so I don’t have to worry about emptying the tank when I’m away. No issues so far. The graduation of the RH% is 5%, which is plenty accurate. I make up for low humidity in the tent with an ACI humidifier and high humidity with the inline fan. Air conditioning helps when it is on, and the dehumidifier when it is off.

Yeah reading Amazon review’s, it makes everything seem like a piece of shit.

Im in the same boat, everything i Read on Amazon (I look at negative review only’ on products) says nothing under a grand is worth a damn… but

My dad’s an hvac tech, was maintenance at local hospital, he’s Also an electrician as well. He has the same Frigidaire that people are saying doesn’t last a few months running constantly for 4 year’s straight.

Lot’s of those reviews that sre negative are from Nancy boy tick Tok generation people that can’t assemble a knock down end table without customer support.

Upon getting a dehum, sit it upright for a few hours at least, not 30 minutes as suggested in manual. This can slug the compressor immediately.

Regular cleaning, cleaning the son of a bitch’s filter every 30-45 day’s.

Buy the biggest one you can afford, we aren’t in the same square foot recommended units as normal people, we Have literally humidification unit’s by the dozen giving off lots of humidity (the plants, the plants are the humidification unit’s.lol)

I Just bought a midea smart access 35 pint From Walmart. Its pulling water out the Air, but its not strong enough to deal with my light’s off humidity with 19 plant’s in 3 tents in a 10x12 room.

Im returning it, got a 50 pint Frigidaire due to be delivered today. When pickin6a unit, trying to get a simple panel, the more features and function beyond just fan control level and mode, leave room for More failure points on the board.

Also, these will ice up if room are too Cold faster than normal.

They’re rated to be used in 41-89/90 degree Ambient. Their ratings should be st 65 degrees and 80% rh.

Those Chinese weird name cookie cutter one’s that say 50 pint and cheeper than midea, ge, Frigidaire or Honeywell, Thier ratings are at 90% rh and 80°F. That’s easy to pull moisture at those level’s. It’s not correct. If tested at the 65°F 80%rh setting, they’re Like 12 pint a Day.

Stick with Midea, Frigidaire, GE, LG, Honeywell. The brands we grew up with, not alloge or waykar crap.

I’ll mention negative online reviews again in closing, take with huge grains of salt. I read a 1 star review on a deployment clasp for a watch band because this Guy and his wife took “2 hours with help from My wife” to get it buckled and figured out. That’s just a retarded human being. Also people also think they need to embellish a bad experience to get refunds. Which leads to untrue experience being posted.

Id really like a commercial unit from Ali express, the same ones that cost 900-1700 from the online garden shops are around 400-600 straight from the source unbranded on Ali express

This one has been a great investment for me but I don’t see it available anywhere anymore. =/

I’m still happy with the IdealAir. Little thing just cranks. But, there are certainly better — and none are perfect.

I wonder how this would work connected to a tent?
